Gamieon Releases Mobile Title ‘Hamster Chase’
Gamieon’s new Android and iOS game Hamster Chase is a puzzle game in which the player uses their device’s built-in accelerometer to help guide a squad of rolling cartoon hamsters home, whilst in the meantime avoiding falls and various traps (one of which being an all-consuming hoover), from the game’s cantankerous villian — Sour Puss.
‘Taking advantage of the accelerometer, Hamster Chase allows players to “roll” four hamsters (Sasha, Goldie, Snowflake, and Ting-Ting) in their plastic balls 100 levels filled with dangerous traps — whilst a menacing Sour Puss paces in the background,’
Additionally, there’s also a place in-game where players can interact with hamsters, watch them do their thing, or maybe even play games with them.
‘The game includes a fully-interactive, virtual Hamster Cage that allows players to watch hamsters run on their wheels, plag hide and seek, and even jump!‘ The press release continues. ‘The hamsters also tell jokes when you tap on them.’ (D’aww…).
Hamster Chase is available in both free and paid versions, with the paid version priced at $0.99, which includes the interactive Hamster Cage and no ads.
If you fancy helping four pink-cheeked hamsters find their way home then you can download the Android version over at Google Play and the free and paid iOS versions can be downloaded here and here, respectively. A web version of the interactive Hamster Cage can also be found here.
